I specialize in residential mortgage loans in the rural areas of Southeastern Colorado. What does this mean to you? Well, if you have ever been unlucky enough to have a lender from out-of-state deny your loan right before closing because they didn't like the appraisal, then you already know what this means. Lending in rural areas can present a challenge for lenders based in metropolitian areas. Lenders in these areas are used to a very fast paced market, with lots of homes selling day in and day out. They have lots of sales data available to them that they use to make lending decisions.
In rural areas, this data is more limited. Life moves at a slower pace. As a result, sometimes metropolitian based lenders do not have the mountains of information that they deem necessary to justify lending on a property.
This is where I come in. I have been working with mortgages in Southeastern Colorado since 1999. In 2003 I was fortunate to become a part of the team at Community Banks Mortgage Division. Becoming part of this team meant having resources at my disposal that I never had before. Recources that allow me to provide superior service and products to the people I work with.
